Job Purpose
SXSW is seeking a Seasonal Film & TV Ticketing Admin who will work as part of the SXSW Film & TV team to coordinate and provide ticketing guidance for the Film & TV Industry attending SXSW. They support Film & TV programming efforts by facilitating and maintaining Film & TV Guest Ticketing allocations for filmmakers, sales agents, press, buyers, and other specialty groups. This role will involve working with staff to communicate ticketing logistics, facilitate Film & TV Guest ticketing fulfillment, and support outreach.

Work location & Schedule
The position is located in Austin, Texas. Core business office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am-6 pm CT. However, from October to March, you must be available to work additional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Research and review of participating filmmakers and Industry affiliations
- Update and maintain the Film & TV guest ticketing system and ticketing allotments
- Field ticket questions from film press, industry, and filmmakers.
- Fulfill the SXSW Film & TV guest ticketing purchase requests.
- Maintain the Rights & Contact list for SXSW Accepted Films
- Be an additional point of contact for film buyers and film industry members on festival logistics questions.
- Perform research and outreach to targeted specialty groups in the Central Texas area to help increase individual ticket sales to the general public.
- General Film Industry knowledge and existing awareness of Indie film distributors, studios, and networks
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with strong prioritization and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Data entry experience
- Proficiency with Mac OS and the Google suite
- FileMaker experience recommended
- Airtable experience recommended
