Position Overview As a Media Strategist, you will develop, execute, and optimize comprehensive paid‑media strategies for our gaming clients. You’ll manage the full campaign lifecycle, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and provide data‑driven insights to drive results. Responsibilities Develop, execute, and manage data‑driven paid media strategies across social, display, video, programmatic, and influencer channels. Own the end‑to‑end campaign lifecycle: planning, setup, trafficking, QA, monitoring, optimization, and reporting. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to inform strategy. Analyze performance data to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Manage campaign budgets, ensuring optimal pace, spend allocation, and KPI achievement. Collaborate with creative, analytics, and account teams to deliver integrated, impactful campaigns. Prepare and present performance reports and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients. Stay current on emerging trends, tools, platforms, and best practices in digital media and gaming. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of learning. Contribute to new‑business pitches and proposals as needed. Note: this role is focused on media buying; creative strategy/execution is not part of this position. Qualifications 2+ years of paid social buying, planning, and strategy experience in an agency or gaming environment. Expertise managing campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter/TikTok Ads Manager, DSPs, and other ad platforms. Strong analytical and quantitative skills; advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Experience with Google Analytics, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar data‑visualization tools. Proficiency with PowerPoint/Google Slides and office suites. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent project‑management and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple deadlines. Strategic thinker with a passion for media innovation. Deep passion for video games and understanding of gaming culture. Experience with A/B and multivariate testing, and optimization methodologies. Familiarity with media research tools such as SimilarWeb, Newzoo, Nielsen, and Simmons. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast‑paced remote environment.
