Marketing Associate
Reports To: Marketing Director
Department: Product Marketing
Location: Hybrid — 2 days in Chestnut Hill, MA office / 3 days remote. Days are typically Monday‑Tuesday or Tuesday‑Wednesday, but this is subject to change.
Position Summary
The Marketing Associate supports the execution, coordination, and reporting of multi‑channel, direct response lead generation campaigns for Sokolove Law. Working closely with the Marketing Director and broader Product Marketing team, this role helps ensure marketing campaigns run smoothly and effectively across digital and offline channels.
This position is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who is organized, curious, and eager to gain hands‑on experience in campaign management, creative development, and performance analysis within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Coordination & Execution
Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of direct response marketing campaigns across multiple practice areas.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to coordinate creative assets, copy, and production timelines.
Support the development and trafficking of materials such as DRTV scripts, direct mail, digital ads, emails, and social content.
Help with campaign QA (quality assurance), proofreading, and compliance checks before launch.
Track project milestones, maintain documentation, and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
Coordinate updates to perennial marketing materials, such as disclaimers and attorney accolades.
Email Marketing & Customer Journeys
Support the setup, testing, and deployment of email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or other platforms.
Assist with list management, segmentation, and campaign calendar organization.
Compile and summarize key performance metrics (open rates, clicks, conversions) for review by the Marketing Director.
Partner with content and creative teams on developing and refining email templates and copy.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with multiple teams to support campaign setup and updates.
Keep team members informed of key due dates, campaign dependencies, and status updates.
Attend marketing meetings, take notes, and track action items to ensure smooth follow‑through.
Compliance & Administration
Assist with required legal and bar association filings for campaign materials.
Support vendor coordination, including processing invoices, tracking expenses, and maintaining project files.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Help compile weekly and monthly campaign performance reports.
Gather data from various marketing platforms and assist in identifying trends and insights.
Research competitors, industry best practices, and emerging trends to support strategic discussions.
Other Responsibilities
Assist with PowerPoint presentations, creative briefs, and marketing documentation.
Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and process improvements as needed.
Demonstrate a proactive, problem‑solving mindset and eagerness to learn new tools and techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, or related field.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Positive attitude, team‑oriented, and open to feedback.
Familiarity with Salesforce, Google Analytics, Asana, or similar tools is a plus.
Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic, mission‑driven organization.
