Position Overview
We are looking for a driven and strategic Content Creator to develop and manage a customer-centric content program that aligns with our business goals. This role is all about crafting high-value content that resonates with our target audience, builds trust, and positions us as an industry thought leader. The Content Creator will play a critical role in shaping our voice and engaging our community through informative and accessible content.
Customer Insight Gathering
- Work closely with sales, customer service, and product teams to identify common customer questions, challenges, and interests.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our ideal customer personas and their journey, ensuring all content meets their needs at each stage.
Content Development
- Create, edit, and publish educational content, including blogs, articles, case studies, FAQs, e-books, and videos, aimed at addressing key customer questions and supporting the buyer’s journey.
- Develop engaging product-based content, comparison guides, and solution-driven resources that directly answer the questions prospects and customers are asking.
- Maintain consistent brand voice and tone across all written and visual content, ensuring clarity and value for our audience.
Inbound Content Strategy
- Use SEO and keyword research to develop a content strategy that drives organic search traffic and improves conversion rates.
- Create pillar content and topic clusters to strengthen website authority on essential subjects and optimize search visibility.
- Regularly update and repurpose high-performing content to ensure relevance and maximize its impact.
Video Content & Social Media Engagement
- Produce video content that explains complex topics, highlights customer testimonials, and addresses common questions.
- Collaborate with social media and marketing teams to distribute content across channels and engage with the audience directly.
Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Track and analyze content performance metrics such as engagement, conversion, and time on page to evaluate the effectiveness of the content strategy.
- Optimize content based on data insights and feedback, making strategic adjustments to improve reach and engagement over time.
- Regularly report on content effectiveness, aligning KPIs with broader marketing goals to demonstrate ROI.
Advocacy and Community Engagement
- Serve as a champion of the They Ask, You Answer methodology, helping internal teams understand the importance of customer-driven content.
- Foster relationships with existing customers to gain deeper insights and create customer-centric content that feels authentic and directly responds to their needs.
- Act as a brand advocate, using content as a means to create connections with the community and cultivate a loyal customer base.
Qualifications
Note: Passion and experience will be weighted higher than education qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or digital marketing, preferably in an inbound marketing context.
- Proven experience with SEO and inbound marketing best practices.
- Skilled in content management systems and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush).
- Experience with video content creation and basic video editing tools is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple content projects and adapt to feedback.

- Increase in organic website traffic and lead generation.
- Higher content engagement rates and lower bounce rates.
- Improved rankings on target keywords.
- Positive feedback from customers and prospects indicating value received from content.
