Creative Operations Specialist – Dotdash Meredith
Join the Dotdash Meredith team as a Creative Operations Specialist to support our Design Group. This role combines creativity, technology, and operations to build and maintain scalable creative workflows and tools.
Role Overview
This is an agency worker opportunity paid via People Inc. Staffed by People Inc., it is a 40‑hour per week, 6‑month contract starting ASAP. Schedule: 9 a.m.–5 p.m., 5 days a week. Location: hybrid – New York City or Des Moines office (3 days in office, up to 2 days remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Build, implement, and optimize creative workflows (70% of time) – identify repeatable tasks, develop automation or AI solutions, build reusable resources, evaluate tools, partner with teams for QC and brand compliance, monitor production metrics.
- Enable adoption, training, and future readiness (30% of time) – train teams and contractors, stay current on AI/automation technology, partner with Legal, Tech, and AI/Operations for governance, licensing, and ethics.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Strong design background with automation/AI workflow experience.
- Hands‑on with design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and generative AI platforms.
- Familiarity with APIs, scripting, or low‑code/no‑code solutions.
- Experience mapping workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing scalable processes.
- Design sensibility, quality‑first mindset, excellent communication, stakeholder collaboration, detail‑oriented, systems‑driven, and technically curious.
- Nice‑to‑have: managing creative workflows and dashboards (Airtable, DAM), video/motion automation knowledge, contractor/vendor management, familiarity with AI‑generated content licensing and ethics.
