Florida Trusts & Estates Attorney

Our client is looking for a Florida Trusts & Estates attorney to join their team. This is a part‑time, fully remote, 3‑month initial contract.

As the Legal Editor you will revise and edit existing documents, and draft new content as needed. You must have 5 years of experience as a Florida Trusts & Estates attorney with substantive experience drafting estate planning documents, preparing pleadings and related documents in fiduciary litigation matters, guardianship proceedings, and other contested Trusts & Estates matters.

Member, in good standing, of the Florida State Bar

Part‑time: 10‑15 hrs/week, flexible

Contract: Initial 3‑month contract (possibility of extension)

Description

• Draft and annotate pleadings, settlement agreements, and other documents related to fiduciary litigation, guardianship proceedings, and other contested matters
• Draft, review, and revise practical guidance articles on Trusts & Estates topics with a focus on probate, fiduciary litigation, guardianships, and other contested Trusts & Estates matters
• Draft checklists, charts, and other how‑to guidance on contested Trusts & Estates matters
• Supplement existing documents with Florida‑specific practical guidance based on state law, local custom, and legal practice experience
• Approx. 10‑15 hours per week, flexible, short or long term

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school
• Member, in good standing, of the Florida State Bar
• 5+ years of experience as a practicing Trusts & Estates attorney, preparing pleadings and related documents in fiduciary litigation matters, guardianship proceedings, and other contested Trusts & Estates matters
• Excellent writing, editing, and legal research skills
