Account Specialist, Influencer Marketing

Position title: Account Specialist, Influencer Marketing. This remote, work-from-home role is with Acceleration Partners. Some travel may be required for client meetings, internal meetings, conferences, and other events.

Overview

As an Account Specialist, you will provide white glove service to diverse brands investing in influencer marketing campaigns. This role focuses on campaign execution, including influencer recruitment, managing influencer partnerships, and owning campaign deliverables, tracking, and reporting. You will analyze campaign performance, identify success areas or challenges, and proactively implement strategic measures to optimize programs toward goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• INFLUENCER RECRUITMENT, NEGOTIATING & ONBOARDING – Source new partnership opportunities and create influencer casting lists. Vet opportunities for brand alignment, authenticity and relevancy; conduct outreach to partners and secure engagement; negotiate when necessary. Support influencers through onboarding by providing resources to streamline processes.
• INFLUENCER PARTNERSHIPS MANAGEMENT – Craft program-wide influencer communications and resources. Guide content strategy and timelines; work with influencers to ensure schedules are met; oversee content reviews to ensure FTC guidelines are followed; adjust content strategy to optimize performance.
• AUDITING, REPORTING & ANALYSIS – Audit program content for FTC compliance and brand guidelines. Track content and share insights with clients, including placement and pace toward KPIs. Analyze campaigns using social analytics and conversions; provide data-driven recommendations; support creation of strategy plans and performance summaries.
• CLIENT SERVICE & COMMUNICATION – Deliver superior client service, build trust, maintain quality and accuracy. Nurture relationships and support high client satisfaction and retention (target: 8.5 client rating).
• PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT – Own and manage client tasks with minimal supervision, handle multiple campaigns, prioritize to meet client objectives, and identify new opportunities while resolving misalignments with the team.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years working for an influencer marketing agency and experience executing influencer campaigns and managing client and influencer relationships
• Solid understanding of omni-channel and digital marketing, with a track record of influencer campaigns for consumer products/services
• Excellent at communicating, presenting and obtaining client approval on campaign strategies
• Working knowledge of attribution in digital marketing
• Strong understanding of how influencer and affiliate marketing can work together
• Tools experience preferred (e.g., CreatorIQ, Grin, Izea); knowledge of Affiliate Networks (Impact, ShareASale, CJ) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to travel up to 15%
• Advanced Excel capabilities and comfort with formatting, formulas and reporting
