Overview

Join Varsity Tutors as an online Expository Writing tutor. Earn up to $40/hour, get paid up to twice per week, and tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform. You’ll be matched with students and can manage your hours and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions to students.
• Use the platform’s tools to conduct engaging writing tutoring and provide real-time support.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; we handle payments and logistics.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Expository Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
