Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online Expository Writing tutoring to students across the country.
• Adapt instruction to individual learning styles and personalize lessons.
• Use the Live Learning Platform to tutor remotely; no commuting.
• Engage students with clear explanations and strong communication.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments.

What We Look For

• Strong communication skills and engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Expository Writing and ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred.

Compensation and Logistics

• Pay up to $40/hour with potential incremental increases with same student sessions.
• Paid up to twice per week.
• Set your own hours; tutor as much as you’d like.
• Remote tutoring using our platform; no commuting.
• AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time support to save prep time.
