Summary Reporting to the Enrollment Marketing Director, the Enrollment Marketing Coordinator plans, coordinates, and develops communications for recruitment and enrollment growth.

Job Description Supports the Director in executing upon best practices in recruitment and enrollment communications across the University; and provides communications support to University team members, including but not limited to Undergraduate Admissions and Outreach, Graduate Admissions, the English Language Institute, the Center for Continuing Education, and other team members as needed.

Coordinates enrollment communication functions for stakeholders that the Director serves, including but not limited to Undergraduate Admissions and Outreach, Graduate Admissions, the English Language Institute, the Center for Continuing Education, and more; and serves as the primary point of contact and liaison between these offices to ensure timely execution of enrollment communications and marketing.

Works with the Director to execute the annual enrollment communications plan; and works to ensure sufficient planning and timely execution of all deliverables.

Manages all admissions-related webpage content; ensures said webpage content is accurate and updated; and works with other offices to cross promote admissions and ensure accurate information is reflected on related recruitment and enrollment sites including Financial Aid.

Supports the communication needs of the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, including but not limited to annual decision letters, ad-hoc communications for admissions counselors, or special projects.

Writes and concepts compelling content and publications targeted to prospective students and families, school personnel, vocational rehabilitation agencies, and other public entities.

Coordinates Admissions Portal content and supports effective communication to prospective and matriculated students from within the portal; and reviews and supports the annual review of Workday notifications and communications that relate to the enrollment cycle and processes.

Ensures that University recruitment and enrollment content, both print and electronic, complies with University policies, procedures, and brand identity, accessibility, and best practices in admissions and enrollment management.

Coordinates with the Office of Financial Aid to review all communications to prospective students and applicants relating to financial aid programs and awards.

Coordinates with the Office of Student Success to review all communications to prospective students and applicants relating to enrollment, matriculation, onboarding, and orientation programs.

Coordinates with other key departments, including Student Health Services, Campus Services, and Residential Life, to review all enrollment communications to prospective students and applicants relating to onboarding and the enrollment process.

Provides high-level writing and editorial communication support to the Director.

Provides the Director with support of ongoing assessment of enrollment communications plans, and makes recommendations for continuous improvement.

Recruits, trains, and supervises student interns working on social media and digital communications projects.

Establishes and maintains a positive and supportive working relationship with co-workers and supervisors.

Demonstrates a genuine commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace and participates in activities and workshops to foster continuous learning.

Serves as a mandatory reporter under Title IX; and commits to completing Title IX training and other compliance requirements on an annual basis.

Prioritizes safety in the workplace as a collective responsibility for the well-being of employees and fosters a culture of safety that is integral to our success, including strict adherence to safety procedures and protocols, as well as promptly reporting any safety hazards or incidents.

Performs related and other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree.

A minimum of three years of professional experience with communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.

Ability to communicate in American Sign Language.

Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Strong creative and professional writing skills.

Strong interpersonal communication and project management skills.

Strong ability to develop content that supports recruitment initiatives.

Strong understanding the elements of effective content and marketing principles.

Strong understanding of marketing segmentation and the ability to reach multiple audiences with diverse messaging.

Demonstrated ability to work with and across University departments, outside constituents and groups.
