Overview The Nashville Zoo has retained SearchWide Global to find a communicative, innovative, and motivational leader to serve as the new Chief Marketing and Public Relations Officer.

Nashville Zoo is a progressive and dynamic zoological park located just 6 miles south of downtown Nashville. With just 90 of 188 acres developed, Nashville Zoo is the 9th largest zoo in the country by landmass. The Zoo is one of the top tourist attractions in the state and has been named the Best Regional Attraction and Best Day Trip by The Tennessean. Nashville Zoo’s mission is to inspire a culture of understanding and discovery of our natural world through conservation, innovation, and leadership.

Responsibilities The Chief Marketing and Public Relations Officer is responsible for leading the strategic marketing, communications, and public relations efforts of Nashville Zoo. This role oversees all aspects of marketing, media relations, and digital engagement, while collaborating across departments to ensure cohesive messaging. As a key member of the leadership team, the CMPRO plays a vital role in advancing the Zoo’s mission through public outreach and donor engagement.
