Job Description:

The Digital & Social Media Manager is a core member of our marketing team, responsible for developing and managing our overall social media and video strategy.

Social Media: From planning campaigns and monitoring analytics to overseeing the content creation process, this position directly manages our day‑to‑day social media presence and develops our long‑term social strategy. You will work closely with the Marketing Director on overall branding and creative planning and will directly manage our social media calendar and content creation: photo/video (including post‑production), copywriting and graphic design, maintaining brand voice and consistency across platforms. This position requires strong project management skills and will coordinate with employees across departments to schedule and capture necessary photography and video. You will also respond to comments, monitor trends and report on analytics, developing data‑driven strategies to strengthen our online presence, engage our audience, and drive business growth.

Video: This position also runs our small in‑house videography studio to plan, produce, ideate, capture and edit content for YouTube videos, social media, product photography and internal training videos. The ideal candidate has technical skills regarding camera equipment, lighting set‑up, sound mixing and data wrangling with the ability to operate as an all‑in‑one production lead. In addition to videography, you will be our in‑house photographer for product photos, employee headshots, and company events.

Travel: The position requires occasional day, multi‑day overnight domestic and international travel to key industry trade shows several times a year to capture at‑show social and digital content. Must be able to capture content ranging from a short form oner to longer marketing videos with more involved edits. A valid passport and the ability to lawfully travel internationally is a condition of employment.

This position also assists with website updates, maintaining our digital asset database, and ensuring brand consistency across digital platforms. The candidate must have a portfolio of digital and video content produced, captured and personally edited.

Content Creation : Oversee the creation of engaging and visually appealing content for a premium brand, including text, images, videos, and infographics, versioned for different platforms. Review all posts before publishing to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand voice.

Scheduling : Manage the content calendar to align with brand goals and ensure cohesion across all social channels while meeting deadlines.

Video Production : Take ownership of our small in‑house videography studio to create high‑quality product tutorials, team interviews, and educational videos, acting as an all‑in‑one production lead to oversee the video creation process from concept to completion: developing and pitching concepts; assisting with scripts; coordinating filming schedules and logistics; operating basic video, lighting and audio during filming; and editing footage for a premium final product.

Project Management : Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple projects. Maintain organized project files, backups, and media libraries.
