We’re looking for a
Communications Specialist
to join our growing marketing team and play a key role in keeping our internal teams and franchisees informed, inspired, and connected. This role bridges the gap between corporate and franchisee communications, ensuring information flows clearly and consistently across the Back Nine network. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, strong writer, and natural project manager who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll be the voice behind internal updates, newsletters, and key announcements—while also supporting press releases and corporate marketing initiatives. Responsibilities
Develop and manage Back Nine’s monthly newsletter , includes maintaining streamlined communications between internal departments, copywriting, editing, coordinating submissions, and overseeing distribution Collaborate with the Initiatives Manager
and marketing team to support corporate initiatives through engaging and timely communications. Draft and publish internal communications , including post-event recaps, thank-you messages, performance summaries, and initiative announcements. Write and edit press releases
for corporate-level updates and collaborations, with final review from the Chief Marketing Officer. Partner with cross-functional teams
to maintain consistent messaging across internal channels. Work closely with the Communications BDC and design team
on content development and visual assets. Continuously identify opportunities
to improve communication efficiency and engagement across the franchise network. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in internal communications, marketing communications, or related roles. Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills. Use of AI integrated platforms for copy and distribution. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Experience using Slack, Monday.com, Google Workspace, and AI integrated copy platforms like Copy.ai or Jasper (or similar tools). Collaborative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
