General Responsibility Tennis Instruction

Lead daily tennis sessions for adults and children. Provide age-appropriate coaching to develop serving, volleying, and overall gameplay skills. Foster good sportsmanship, teamwork, and enjoyment of the sport. Maintain tennis equipment and ensure courts are safe and clean. Adapt instruction to match various ages and skill levels. Encourage participation and build positive relationships with campers.

Photography & Media

Capture high-quality images of camp activities, events, and community life. Manage and organize digital photo files for internal use and camper access. Provide portrait sessions for campers and families upon request. Post regularly to social media channels, ensuring appropriate and positive representation of camp. Establish and maintain a photo purchasing system accessible to campers and families.

Specific Responsibilities:

Organization

Develop and implement action plans and procedures relevant to the role. Be a self-starter and take initiative in both program and media areas.

Culture

Put people first—support new and returning community members including campers, parents, families, alumni, donors, staff, and volunteers. Foster good morale and well-being within the camp community. Support international staff and campers. Demonstrate attention to detail in crafting excellent experiences in all we do.

Safety

Support incident report management and uphold community safety standards. Demonstrate stewardship for the future through care of equipment and camp resources. Maintain and respect community boundaries for a safe environment.

Essential Functions

Live onsite during the camp season. Support approximately 180 campers and 60 staff members, six to seven days per week for ten weeks. Participate actively in camp life and be a positive presence throughout the community.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Full-Time Availability for the Camping Season Beginning 2 Saturdays before July 4 and ending Labor Day Must be at least 16 years of age Desire and ability to work with in a camp setting Strong attention to detail, cleanliness and follow through Passion for people, a willingness to serve Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control Qualifications

Experience in tennis instruction, coaching, or active play preferred. Proficiency in photography, including the use of personal DSLR or mirrorless camera equipment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Energetic, patient, and able to balance multiple responsibilities. Prior experience working with children, families, or in a camp setting preferred. Compensation

Room and board are provided in addition to a salary commensurate with experience.
