team. This is an opportunity to be part of a vertically integrated, Los Angeles–based brand recognized globally for its dedication to impeccable fit, quality craftsmanship, and responsible production. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Creative Director to concept, design, and execute seasonal collections that reflect the brand’s elevated aesthetic and commitment to authenticity. Responsibilities

Partner with the Creative Director to develop seasonal concepts, fabrications, and color direction for Citizens of Humanity Women’s RTW and Collaborations Design and execute all ready-to-wear categories, including wovens, knits and sweaters, and outerwear with a focus on timeless, modern silhouettes. Collaborate with the Denim Design Director to ensure cohesion between denim and RTW collections. Conduct trend and market research with an emphasis on fabric innovation, craftsmanship, and sustainable practices. Create and maintain detailed technical drawings and design specifications, working closely with the pattern and product development teams. Oversee fittings, ensuring each garment meets Citizens’ standards of fit, comfort, and quality. Participate in material sourcing and development with mills and suppliers. Review and approve prototypes and production samples for accuracy and quality. Maintain design archives and documentation throughout the development process. Work cross-functionally with merchandising, production, and marketing teams to bring collections to market seamlessly and on time. Provide mentorship and direction to associate designers and interns. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field. Minimum 5 years in apparel design, including 2+ years in a Designer role or equivalent scope of ownership. Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Deep understanding of fabric, fit, and construction. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
