About The Role The Marketing Analyst supports the marketing, sales, and commercial strategy teams by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data that drives business decisions. This role is ideal for a marketing or data analytics professional with a strong analytical mindset and interest in industrial or chemical markets. The Marketing Analyst will help measure product performance, pricing, commercial trends, and customer insights, while preparing reports and dashboards that guide strategic planning.
Responsibilities
Analyze internal and external market data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
Gather and organize commercial and technical information related to the chemical and oleochemical industry
Evaluate product performance, pricing, customer data, and market activity
Build and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics for leadership
Conduct economic and industry research to support business cases and commercial strategy
Monitor competitor activity and summarize findings for commercial leadership
Translate analytical findings into presentations, reports, and communication summaries
Validate accuracy and integrity of data through quality checks and documentation
Utilize database skills to analyze large data sets
Sales Pipeline Analysis – collaborate with sales directors to conduct pipeline reviews sharing insights and recommendations to Regional Commercial Leadership Team.
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, R&D, and Finance on cross-functional analysis
Assist with communication initiatives including new product launches, success stories, and margin improvement updates
Contribute to commercial excellence by reinforcing reporting standards, documentation, and best practices
Develop business models, operating models, and capabilities that support long-term commercial strategy
Lead and support communication campaigns including new launches, success stories, and commercial achievements
Assist with building and maintaining reports and dashboards for ongoing performance tracking
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and develop data-driven solutions
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data through validation and quality checks
Utilize Excel, Power BI, and other analytics tools to support data-driven decision making and present insights effectively
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
0–2 years of experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or e-commerce preferred (internships acceptable)
Strong proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, and AI-supported analytics tools
Ability to analyze large data sets and interpret commercial implications
Basic understanding of pricing analysis, economics, and competitive benchmarking
Strong communication and presentation skills
Exposure to CRM or ERP systems is a plus
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
Experience in chemical, oleochemical, or manufacturing industries
Understanding of B2B marketing or industrial product lines
Curiosity, growth mindset, and enthusiasm for learning
Exposure to automated or AI-supported reporting and analytics tools
