As a Patrol Officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and support. Provide customer service by following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within a technology and media environment. Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report any security-related concerns. Document and report any security-related incidents or observations according to Allied Universal protocols. Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and maintain a positive presence. Remain alert to the surroundings and promptly address any unusual or suspicious behavior as directed by site policies. Minimum Requirements
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Experience in customer service is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
