Position Summary:
UES is hiring a full‑time Marketing Operations Analyst in the Denver office. The Marketing Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting back‑office operations of the oil and gas marketing teams including accounting support, invoice generation and reconciliation, revenue and weighted average sales price forecasting, contract management and credit reporting, and other accounting and back‑office related tasks for the sales of UES client oil and gas production and/or purchases. Additionally, the Marketing Operations Analyst supports UES marketing teams with oil and natural gas scheduling and field coordination duties on an as needed basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Settlements & Invoicing
Generate and review invoices for commodity sales and purchases, including price adjustments and fees.
Reconcile daily and monthly trade volumes, prices, and counterparties with UES marketing and scheduling teams.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in trade data, pricing, and volumes.
Reconcile revenue and cost discrepancies with Uplift client teams and external counterparty accounting and trading teams.
Facilitate seamless payment and receivable processing to and from counterparties and ensure accurate settlement by contractual due dates.
Reporting
Develop and deliver month‑end reports of all confirmed sales activity to support the invoicing process with the accounting teams of each UES client.
Develop and deliver weighted average sales price reports tailored to each UES client’s individual preferences and timelines.
Generate and deliver sales invoices to purchasers. Work directly with purchasers to reconcile payment and ensure timely and accurate invoices.
Contract Administration & Credit
Support NAESB negotiation process and counterparty onboarding for UES clients.
Develop, maintain, and distribute client‑specific counterparty credit exposure reports and communicate changes and thresholds with UES marketing teams and UES clients.
Cross‑Functional Coordination & Optimization
Drive the development of new processes to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
Support UES clients and internal oil and gas marketing teams through ad‑hoc modeling and analysis. Expected to work directly with clients to answer questions as needed.
Effective and timely communication with UES clients and their counterparties is paramount to the success of UES. Maintain respectful and productive working relationships across all work groups.

Other duties as assigned to support the team atmosphere and success of Uplift Energy Strategy.
Knowledge and Skills:
Must be a self‑starter and comfortable working in a fast‑paced and diverse environment with varying degrees of direction and pressure.
Attention to detail with a commitment to a high‑level of accuracy is essential.
Strong accounting and analytical skills, with extreme proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as most responsibilities require working with external personnel, both clients and commodity purchasers.
Must be able to work and learn independently, as well as work closely with a small team; can quickly adapt to changing conditions in support of the team goals and deadlines.
The ability to create, maintain and analyze spreadsheets and records to manage business needs.
Highly adaptable to new software applications and internal processes.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or similar degree is required.
Two (2) plus years’ experience in oil and gas accounting, finance, or oil and gas scheduling preferred, with at least one (1) year required.
