Position Summary As an UI/UX Designer, you will work closely with our experienced designers and developers to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces for our digital products.

This position is on-site 5 days a week at our Fort Worth, Texas office.

We do not offer sponsorship for this position.

Key Roles / Responsibilities

Collaborate with the UI/UX team to assist in the creation of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.

Support product design by conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback.

Assist in the development and maintenance of UI design guidelines, style guides, and design patterns.

Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve designs.

Learn and apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.

Assist in the implementation of UI designs by working closely with developers and providing design assets and specifications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define user requirements and design optimal solutions.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs for cloud platforms, mobile apps, and desktop applications.

Design intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that meet the needs of diverse users across multiple devices and platforms.

Ensure that design consistency is maintained across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, web-based cloud applications).

Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies, especially related to cloud and mobile app development.

Map the end-to-end user journey (current and desired); to include facilitation of co-design sessions.

Developing personas or proto personas.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.

Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles and practices.

Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar software.

Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and an eye for visual aesthetics.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong eye for detail in visual designs, including composition, layout, grid layouts and responsive design.

Knowledge of web development methodologies (preferably Agile/Scrum), application design, navigation, and information architecture.

Proficient with rapid design software (ex. Adobe CC, Azure).

Knowledge of HTML / CSS, JavaScript, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

Human Factors certifications such as CUA, HCI are preferred.

Working Conditions

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.

Moves throughout the building to access files.

Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.

Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.

Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.

Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
