Responsible for designing and implementing integrated marketing strategies to meet and exceed customer engagement and adoption goals of priority initiatives, programs, products and services. The team empowers customers to choose energy solutions that align with their needs and contribute to the clean energy transition. Leads development of marketing and awareness campaigns to reach various customer segments; audiences include homeowners, renters, small to medium business and commercial/industrial customers.

Role & Responsibilities
Develops and delivers marketing strategy, tactics and results aligned to program, product and corporate goals; implements the marketing work plan and reports on KPIs and success metrics.
Accountable for the success of marketing efforts designed to meet regulatory-driven targets and program goals, including managing campaign/tactical performance, optimization and marketing budget forecast.
Directs marketing agency vendors, including overseeing budgets/forecasting, channel strategies and schedules, campaign optimization, ROI, metrics and reporting. Ensures vendor partners have strategic guidance, goals, budgets, assets and information needed to effectively supports our clients marketing goals and objectives. Responsible for marking sure all agency-produced materials meet the clients brand and voice standards through collaboration with brand leads.
Proactively engages with internal partners to inform the marketing campaigns. Aligns business goals, objectives and strategies with customers’ needs, priorities and outcomes.
Designs cross-promotional marketing experiences as appropriate. Seeks opportunities to bundle messages for audiences to maximize spend and visibility.
Required Qualifications
Experience managing advertising and creative agencies, including deliverables from concept through completion, schedules, optimization, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, media, marketing, business innovation, business management
or related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five (5) years relevant work experience in communications and marketing.
Direct experience in marketing communications with consumer, commercial, industrial and/or institutional customers within a corporate and/or advertising agency environment, with budget responsibilities.
Proven experience in customer communications and engagement process improvement.
Proven experience utilizing customer insights to inform and improve upon customer engagement goals, strategies and tactics.
Knowledge of best-in-class practices for customer engagement both within and outside of the utility industry.
Demonstrated ability in managing complex projects with cross-functional teams and in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment. Ultimate professionalism when working with internal and external partners.
Understanding of the techniques and processes needed to create a consistent and common voice across customer communications.
Professional-level competencies necessary to comprehend, analyze, and influence a wide range of complex business units and corporate-wide initiatives and issues.
Ability to manage projects, work with other departmental teams and deliver on commitments.
Proficient in MS Office tools.
Desired Qualifications
Ability to speak Spanish or Vietnamese is not required, but would be a major bonus.
Experience designing and implementing culturally sensitive and inclusive marketing strategies.
Experience leading marketing content strategy, including managing narrative strategy, editorial calendars and copy editing.
Broad knowledge of gas and electric utility rates, business objectives, to include operations, customer service, finance, and corporate relations.
Customer journey mapping, assessment and improvement.
