The Gettysburg Times is excited to announce an opening for a general assignment reporter who is ready to make a difference in our community through journalism. This role will involve comprehensive coverage of essential topics including local government, educational boards, business highlights, and an array of community feature stories that resonate with our audience. Candidates must be ready to produce daily content for both our print publication and our digital presence.

We are looking for individuals with a strong background in print or digital journalism. The ideal reporter will have excellent storytelling abilities and a passion for uncovering the stories that matter. Candidates who can also shoot photographs and have experience with pagination are encouraged to apply, as these skills will contribute significantly to our visual storytelling efforts.
