With over 45 years of experience, in Southwest Florida, we provide our clients unparalleled service, innovation, and performance in conceptualization, design, and implementation of the built environment. We are passionate about our commercial design projects and are looking for an Architectural Designer with a concentration in developing Construction Documents. This designer needs to have a minimum of 5 years experience while working independently from the beginning of the design process through the completion of the project. *Responsibilities:*
* *Capable of interacting independently with clients, contractors and consultants* * *Understanding applicable codes and communicating with local jurisdictions, analyzing site constraints and provide critical analysis of code and zoning issues* * *Working as part of the team developing presentations * * *Strong understanding of construction building systems to be fully implemented into the construction documents* * *Basic understanding of construction elements & products to be incorporated into the project manual* * *Capable of leading 'ready check process' of construction documents with consultants and clients* * *Coordinate building systems integration with engineering consultants* * *Mentor junior staff and contribute to our collaborative culture* * *Capable of maintaining projects on budget and on schedule*
*Advanced Responsibilities:*
* *Able to develop conceptual design ideas to complete comprehensive architectural compositions* * *Understanding of bidding, permitting, and construction administration to work hand to hand with our office CA department* * *Capable of creating a variety of conceptual ideas into 3D models to enhance communication with clients and the integration of architect and client ideas*
*Qualifications:*
* *Minimum of 5 years experience completing a set of architectural drawings from beginning of the design process to the completion of the permitting process.* * *Proficiency in Revit, AutoCad and MS Office * * *Understanding of the details that complete the architectural aspect of the project with Civil, MEP & structural engineers* * *Strong written and verbal communication skills* * *Capable of working on multiple projects as the team lead person or support other team members* * *Provide samples of projects, work significant as a Architectural Designer*
*Bonus Qualifications:*
* *Working as a team with the CA department on site observation visits and reports* * *Well-developed graphic and visualization skills* * *Licensure or motivation to pursue licensure* * *3-D Visualization Software (Lumion, 3D Studio Max, and Adobe Suite)*
