Nashville Public Radio
Founding Marketing Lead
Nashville Public Radio, San Francisco, California, United States, 94199
Company Description
Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required. Dashboards look at the past. NexDiscovery signals you to act.
NexDiscovery is pioneering a new category –
Proactive Intelligence
– that turns raw enterprise data into action autonomously, before anyone asks a question. Our agentic AI platform continuously explores data across CRM, ERP, and financial systems to surface insights that drive revenue, reduce risk, and resolve data quality issues—without dashboards, analyst time, or sending data to an LLM.
We’re live with pilots in the U.K. and U.S., helping CROs and CFOs shorten sales cycles, prevent fraud, and restore data trust—proving ROI in the first 30 days.
Role Description As
Founding Marketing Lead , you’ll build NexDiscovery’s voice, presence, and community from the ground up.
You’ll own storytelling across brand, content, and GTM enablement — translating complex AI innovation into simple, compelling narratives that capture attention and build credibility.
This isn’t a campaign-only role. It’s category creation, content strategy, and growth engine-building in one. You’ll work directly with the founders to define the public face of Proactive Intelligence.
What You'll Do Category & Brand Narrative
Build and articulate the NexDiscovery story — what “Proactive Intelligence” means and why it matters.
Create consistent messaging across website, decks, PR, and social channels.
Develop visuals, taglines, and assets that embody the brand (think “Dashboards Look Back. NexDiscovery Looks Ahead.”).
Content & Thought Leadership
Write and publish weekly founder-ghostwritten content (LinkedIn, X, Medium).
Develop case studies and insight stories from pilots (sales, finance, data quality).
Launch the
“Signals Ahead”
newsletter or content series — highlighting the future of decision intelligence.
Community & Events
Organize small executive roundtables, pitch nights, and virtual events with CROs, CFOs, and innovation leaders.
Represent NexDiscovery at AI, data, and startup conferences to amplify awareness.
Build early advocate and partner relationships in the BI and data ecosystem (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS).
GTM Enablement
Partner with Sales and Partnerships on messaging, one-pagers, and decks.
Help design campaign flows and landing pages for pilot launches.
Track engagement metrics, lead flow, and content performance to inform iteration.
You'll Be a Great Fit If You Have:
5+ years in
startup marketing, brand, or content roles
(ideally in B2B SaaS, AI, or data analytics).
A
storyteller
first — you turn technical ideas into emotional, memorable messages.
Experience building brand presence from zero: website, social, community, and thought leadership.
Hands‑on creator: you write, edit, post, and iterate yourself — not just manage others.
Comfortable in founder‑led chaos; fast‑moving, self‑directed, and creative under constraint.
Strong grasp of modern tools (Notion, Webflow, HubSpot, Figma, LinkedIn, X, GA4).
Why Join NexDiscovery:
Join early and help define a new AI category shaping the future of enterprise decision‑making.
Work directly with founders and early customers and partners.
