About the Role We're looking for an experienced Head of Product Marketing to lead our Global PMM function shaping how the world understands and adopts Mixpanel. You'll drive the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our core platform and future innovations. You’ll partner with our Executive Team, Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success, to fuel growth, launch new capabilities, and elevate our voice in the market with customers, prospects, and industry analysts. The PMM team has a direct hand in shaping how customers experience our product and how the market experiences our brand. You’ll continue to build and lead a high-performing team that values innovation, clarity, bold thinking, and execution. You’ll help drive the next wave of growth for a product that 29,000 teams around the world rely on to move faster and smarter. Responsibilities Develop, test and evangelize Mixpanel’s messaging and positioning, ensuring it's clear, differentiated, and aligned across every touchpoint. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and launches, including end-to-end planning, execution, and creation of marketing content to generate awareness and educate internally and externally. Own the keynote and sessions at our annual US, EMEA, and APAC MXP events. Run the win/ loss program for Enterprise accounts - share company-wide each quarter Go deep on competitive intelligence to inform product strategy, shape the roadmap, and enable GTM teams with clear differentiation and positioning to drive internal alignment, customer success, and deal conversion. Partner with our Enablement teams to equip Marketing, Sales, and CS with compelling assets, pitch decks, competitive battlecards, product demos, and value-based narratives that drive effective customer conversations to close. Work collaboratively with the pricing counsel and CEO to evolve and optimize pricing and packaging. Make recommendations on pricing models that will optimize revenue and profitability. Conduct thorough competitive pricing analysis. Collaborate with global Marketing teams on integrated campaigns that drive new business and expansion pipeline. Support the teams with research, insights, campaign assets, and speaking engagements. Nurture trusted relationships with key Industry Analysts to continuously demonstrate Mixpanel’s thought leadership, competitive advantage, customer success, innovation, and product execution. Collaborate with Marketing Ops to train and optimize our AI SDRs Experiment with AI tools and platforms to drive innovation and efficiency within the Product Marketing team. We're Looking For Someone Who Has 15 years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, including 5+ years in people management. Experience across both PLG (product-led growth) and sales-led growth within digital analytics. A proven track record of leading successful launches and GTM motions that drove adoption and revenue growth. Deep customer focus, with empathy for users and a sharp understanding of the B2B buyer journey, consistently translating insights into positioning and GTM strategy. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity into clear, compelling messaging and outstanding written skills. A passion for storytelling, connecting product capabilities to customer value through compelling narratives. A collaborative mindset, with experience working cross-functionally across Product, Sales, CS, and Marketing. Expertise in marketing technical products to product managers, developers, analysts, and/or data engineers. Curiosity about emerging technologies, with a track record of experimenting with AI to drive insights and innovation. Bonus Points For Experience as a Product Manager (builder’s mindset) or journalist (storyteller’s mindset), backgrounds that often make for exceptional PMMs. Compensation The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors.
