Production Line Manager
Document and track current status of all shortages for jobs on the production line. Work closely with Purchasing, Shop and Manufacturing personnel to ensure timely delivery of shortage items. Replenish line-side stock. Stage ship-loose materials Sequence materials for assembly and wiring Audit parts return cart - return items to stockroom Verify pick carts (kits from stock) Process Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Hold for Disposition (HFD) and lost part requests in a timely and efficient manner. Attend weekly production meetings. Follow all safety rules on shop floor. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or General Education Diploma. Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing / assembly environment. Preferred Qualifications Skills, Abilities & Other Requirements Ability to read and understand MRP reports, stock status reports and customer order shortage report. Knowledge in running queries on the Oracle database and proficient with excel. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong analytical skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Good organization skills Must be responsible and dependable. Must have demonstrated excellent leadership skills. Working & Environmental Conditions Working Conditions Safety sensitive position in a temperature-controlled manufacturing or industrial environment with occasional outside activities. Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) (i.e., safety shoes, hard hats, bump caps, safety glasses, hearing protection at times, safety harnesses/ fall protection equipment as required). Must be able to work from all type of ladders (step ladders, "A" frame ladders continuously and / or scissor lifts while performing overhead work. Working at heights usually no higher than 10 feet in the air on an elevated structure using proper lift equipment. Physical Requirements Able to maintain body equilibrium and agility to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching, ascending or descending stairs or step ladders Bending the body at the waist, the legs at the knees, and extending arms and hands in any direction Continuous standing and walking Able to use upper extremities frequently, work with both arms above shoulders and use both arms at full length frequently. Must be able to meet physical lifting demand up to 50lbs.
