The successful candidate will be part of a manufacturing assembly team that is involved with microelectronic components. You will have annual training requirements in topics ranging from safety, hazardous materials, quality systems, and other topics. 2nd Shift Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10:30pm What You Will Do Manual assembly tasks, solder, operating semi and automated processing equipment, operating ovens, using a microscope to perform and inspect work Sit and stand for prolonged period Follow detailed written work instructions using our Factory Operating System (FOS), create nonconformances in FOS, and perform rework Communicate effectively, multi-task, and be flexible with the work assignments Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established, proven process and perform in-process inspection in accordance with company standards and customer specifications Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Experience with microelectronics and/or in a manufacturing environment within the aerospace or defense industry U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer Strong safety focus Positive attitude and teaming skills needed Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement A successful candidate would be able to accomplish daily work tasks with minimal supervision, and have effective time management.
