Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Creative Technologist to lead creative technology initiatives within our in‑house agency (IHA). The role partners with Lilly Capabilities and other teams to design, pilot, and scale solutions that accelerate the content supply chain, improve quality, and embed new capabilities across marketing and digital content.
Responsibilities
- Influence technology roadmaps and milestones across the IHA to accelerate the content supply chain.
- Embed yourself across the in‑house agency, learn workflows, and identify opportunities where technology can remove friction or unlock speed.
- Support standardization by contributing to playbooks, templates, and process documentation that drive consistency.
- Enable adoption by building training resources, documenting best practices, and supporting teams in adopting new templates, tools, and capabilities.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Capabilities, Content Ops, Tech@Lilly, Lilly Bengaluru, Brands, and Modular Content teams to align and execute.
- Drive value rapidly: pilot use cases, track outcomes, and support scaling successful initiatives across the IHA.
- Assure compliance & quality by applying regulatory and accessibility requirements when delivering creative tech solutions.
- Provide feedback to improve tools across the CSC: surface pain points, gather new requirements, and engage partners such as Lilly Capabilities, Adobe, etc.
- Track & share success: capture learnings, metrics, and case studies from pilots.
- Stay ahead of trends: monitor emerging technologies and creative tools beyond Adobe and bring forward ideas that strengthen the content supply chain.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven Innovator: Demonstrated ability to apply and scale creative technologies to improve processes, speed, or quality within marketing and content production.
- Creative Technology Specialist: Significant understanding of creative technologies with ability to spot gaps, propose solutions, and work within pharma regulatory guardrails. Ability to understand pain points and communicate with appropriate teams to influence product enhancements.
- Hands‑On Executor: Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments and running multiple projects in parallel to test, pilot, and deliver technical solutions quickly and effectively. Adept at breaking down complex challenges into actionable steps and troubleshooting issues in real time.
- Curious Learner: Agile mindset with willingness to experiment in ambiguity, succeed or fail fast, and continuously improve how we deliver work.
- Change Advocate: Champion of adopting new ways of working with technology and enabling teams through OCM.
- Detail‑Oriented Integrator: High attention to detail in applying brand guidelines, accessibility, and compliance requirements across deliverables.
- Collaborative Partner: Skilled at building relationships across teams, tailoring communications to different groups and stakeholders, and ensuring integrated solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to create tailored, end‑user‑focused training materials to position teams for success with new ways of working.
- Demonstrated success in leading organizational change management.
- Experience in managing creative workflows, including asset management, personalization, and scaling content across multiple markets.
- Foundational knowledge with creative configuration platforms (Adobe Experience Manager, Figma, Canva, or similar).
- Experience working within highly regulated or compliance‑heavy environments such as healthcare, finance, government, or media, with strong understanding of process rigor, documentation, and cross‑functional review.
- Demonstrated success in leading centralized tech teams that support multiple brands and stakeholders across diverse marketing channels.
- Proven intellectual curiosity and external perspective, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Highly motivated to pursue ongoing learning and professional development, including obtaining certifications such as Adobe Certified Professional to stay current.
- Ability to diagnose process vs. technology pain points and implement solutions through project planning and milestone management.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills, with ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Self‑starter with track record of independent initiative, ownership, and effective self‑management.
- Strong collaboration, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills; adept at navigating complex stakeholder environments.

- Position based in Indianapolis; remote work options may be considered. Relocation package provided. Travel up to 15% is expected.
Benefits & Compensation
Annual salary range: $58,500 – $137,500. Full‑time employees are eligible for company bonuses, 401(k) with match, pension, vacation and medical/dental/vision benefits, flexible benefits, wellness programs, and more.
