The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Audio Engineer to oversee all audio operations within our dynamic showroom entertainment venue. This individual will be responsible for designing, operating, and maintaining high‑quality sound systems for a wide range of live performances, including concerts, comedy shows, theatrical productions, and special events. This role is key in ensuring every guest experiences superior audio quality in an exciting casino environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of audio production for showroom events from set‑up to strike.
  • Design, program, and operate live sound reinforcement systems, including FOH and monitors.
  • Collaborate with performers, tour personnel, and other production staff to meet show requirements.
  • Supervise audio team members during events.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot all audio equipment, including digital consoles, microphones, wireless systems, and playback devices.
  • Advance technical audio needs with incoming acts.
  • Manage audio inventory, conduct regular maintenance, and recommend equipment upgrades.
  • Coordinate with lighting, video, and stage departments to deliver a seamless show experience.
  • Provide training and mentorship for junior audio technicians.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in live sound engineering, preferably in a casino, theater, or live music venue.
  • Strong knowledge of digital mixing consoles (e.g., Midas, Behringer, etc.), RF coordination, and live audio networking (e.g., Dante, AVB).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and strong attention to audio detail.
  • Ability to read technical riders and stage plots, and adapt to varying show needs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Degree or certification in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or related field is a plus.

Target Salary Range: (Post $32.14)
