Part‑Time Faculty‑Clinical Rite Care Center Communication Disorders
Position: Part‑time clinical faculty – RiteCare Center for Communication Disorders, Savannah, GA
Regular part‑time appointment for the 2025‑2026 academic year on a semester‑by‑semester basis.
Responsibilities
Serve as a valued member of the university clinic team, providing clinical instruction to graduate students. Activities include
- Delivering both individual and group supervision in intervention and assessment.
- Meeting weekly with graduate clinicians for didactic and client‑specific supervision.
- Monitoring and providing feedback on clinical sessions, reviewing recordings, and overseeing completion of clinical reports and documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborating with the faculty team on curriculum and program development.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives.
- Commitment to best‑practice instruction, mentoring, and curriculum development.
- Current certification of clinical competence from ASHA.
- Licensed or license‑eligible to practice professionally within the state of Georgia.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Completion of necessary Continuing Education courses for clinical supervision.
- Ability to work with a variety of cultural and linguistic populations.
- Proficiency with computers and web‑based technology.
- Certified in BLS as a healthcare provider.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience (baccalaureate and/or graduate levels).
- Prior supervision experience.
- Evidence of effective teaching and clinical supervision.
- Evidence of commitment to supporting a diverse student body.
- Expertise in pediatric, adult, and family therapy approaches. Record of approved continuing education in supervision and/or clinical administration.
Proposed Salary
Commensurate with experience. Exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
