Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate and efficient care to pets with urgent medical needs
  • Diagnose and treat acute conditions and minor injuries in canine and feline patients
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners regarding treatment options
  • Collaborate closely with skilled technicians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation while adhering to the highest standards of care

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary college (or equivalent international certification)
  • Active or eligible veterinary license in Virginia
  • Strong multitasking and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
