Overview

The Razorfish team is seeking a SEO Supervisor on a temporary basis, with potential for full‑time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive content and technical SEO strategies for client accounts.
• Serve as the primary SEO point‑of‑contact for clients, managing day‑to‑day program delivery and communications.
• Conduct detailed site audits to identify technical issues and optimization opportunities.
• Develop and implement content strategies that enhance brand visibility across traditional search engines and AI‑powered platforms (GEO/AEO).
• Create and present strategic recommendations, technical findings and performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze performance data to generate actionable insights and data‑driven recommendations.
• Ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness of all team deliverables and client communications.
• Develop and maintain internal resources including SEO checklists, processes and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with leadership on thought‑leadership initiatives and best practices development.

Qualifications

• 5‑7 years of hands‑on SEO experience, with demonstrated progression in responsibility.
• Deep expertise with large‑scale websites and a proven ability to diagnose complex technical and traffic issues.
• Strong proficiency with industry‑standard SEO tools (Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Conductor, BrightEdge, Botify, etc.).
• Understanding of evolving search landscapes including AI‑powered search and GEO/AEO optimization strategies.
• Proven track record presenting SEO strategies and recommendations to mid‑ and senior‑level stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize recommendations and translate them into actionable project roadmaps.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $46.00 – $63.00 hourly. This is the pay range the company believes it will pay for this position at the time of posting. Compensation is determined based on the applicant’s skills, qualifications and experience. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan once criteria are met, and may qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria are met.
