Best Buy is excited to bring on a new Visual Merchandising Specialist. Your compensation will be based on your experience and skills. A detailed pay range is provided below.

Base pay range

$16.50/hr - $23.62/hr

As a Visual Merchandising Specialist, you’ll be responsible for installing and supporting retail displays as part of remodels, vendor‑supported activities, de‑commissions, disaster recovery, and other company initiatives. You’ll work both day and overnight shifts, review work done by third‑party contractors, and provide functionality support. Your role includes setting planograms, installing graphics, and ensuring stores are ready for business each day.

What You’ll Do

• Complete company‑sponsored merchandising tasks, which include complex interactive display setup, AV support, signage implementation, and installation of product security devices.
• Install complex built‑in appliances in kitchen displays.
• Complete project merchandising and store display functionality support within given timelines.
• Help train new team members through job shadowing and sharing of best practices.
• Implement new interactive displays and technologies.
• Perform basic and intermediate functionality support on store interactive displays.
• Maintain knowledge of vendor‑provided displays.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 months of demonstrated merchandising, technical, or functionality support skills.
• Able to safely use small hand tools, light duty power tools, and other in‑house equipment.
• Able to work overnight and weekend shifts.
• Able to travel up to 75% of the year.
• Able to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Must be eligible to qualify for and maintain a corporate credit card to book travel and submit business expenses for reimbursement.
