About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of UI Engineering and Design Systems to spearhead the development and scaling of AI-driven user interface capabilities across its digital ecosystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the UI engineering team, defining and executing the roadmap for AI-enabled UI engineering, and ensuring the evolution of the design system to support adaptive, personalized, and intelligent interfaces. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in modern web frameworks, accessibility standards, and CI/CD pipelines, and a proven track record of integrating AI or machine-learning capabilities into front-end or design-system development. Key responsibilities for the Head of UI Engineering and Design Systems include driving innovation at the intersection of AI, front-end engineering, and design systems, and embedding various forms of AI into the UI layer to enhance user experiences. The role also involves team and culture building, with a focus on technical excellence, curiosity, and innovation, as well as fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of front-end/UI engineering experience, including 5 years in a leadership role, and will be adept at influencing and partnering across design, product, and engineering functions. The position is pivotal in championing AI-driven experience engineering as a differentiator in the company's digital capabilities and requires a leader who can ensure cross-platform consistency, compliance, and brand integrity.
