Purpose of Job
The Digital Communications Strategist is responsible for the strategy and implementation of various internal and external communications relating to organic/paid social media and marketing campaigns with a key focus on video creation, editing, and distribution to accomplish brand awareness and recruiting goals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)
Plan calendar and strategy for external digital communications with a focus on social media and video content.
Plan, film, and edit video content and strategy for organic social media, including Reels and TikTok, paid social campaigns, and projects as requested.
Travel to offices, listings, events, etc. as needed to capture video content for social media.
Assist with scheduling and monitoring organic social media content. Assist in initiating deployment with paid content distribution through our digital marketing agency by organizing and preparing content.
Write content for social media posts and assist with content for emails, blog posts, campaign deliverables, video scripts, and any other projects as requested.
Assist in the creation and strategy for branch office social media as needed.
Remain up-to-date on platforms and recommend new tools when relevant.
Assist in measuring and compiling social media reports. Analyze results and offer solutions to align with the desired outcome and direct new strategies as appropriate.
Create and lead virtual social media and content training classes as needed.
Provide virtual and/or in-office support at the office level, and offer assistance to Regional Marketing Managers at the agent level.
Perform any additional responsibilities relating to social media, video, or marketing as requested or assigned.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
Experience:
5+ years of marketing experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of popular social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Familiar with creating content specific to platforms, including trending videos and other content.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere or other video editing software.
Strong knowledge of filming with professional cameras, iPhones, microphones, drones, and lighting.
Canva. Basic knowledge of Photoshop, graphic design, and/or video editing is a plus.
Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office products, Basecamp, or similar project management systems.
Ability to provide technical support to agents, office staff, and leadership on popular social media platforms.
Strong knowledge of social media scheduling platforms, such as Later.
Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Ability to prioritize and manage an evolving schedule, both virtually and in person.
Strong presentation skills.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong strategic communications planning to increase internal and external engagement.
Budget management related to social media platforms and promoted organic posts.
Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.)
Must possess and maintain valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
Must have access to a reliable vehicle and ability to travel on a daily basis through assigned territory on a scheduled or unscheduled basis.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance .
Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel as needed.
Wage
$62,400.00 - $72,800.00 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience.
