Why you'll Love This Job The Analyst/ Sr Analyst, AAdvantage Business℠ Strategy and Design is part of the Commercial Division. This role will support strategic development of the AAdvantage Business loyalty program. The Analyst will play a critical role in driving customer segmentation, refining value propositions, evaluating competitor offerings, and helping translate customer feedback into actionable program enhancements.

What You'll Do

Conduct customer segmentation analysis to identify distinct SMB groups and inform product design, engagement strategies, and campaign targeting.

Support the definition and refinement of value propositions for each segment, integrating competitive intelligence and customer insights.

Develop and maintain market scans and competitor intelligence reports to ensure the AAdvantage Business program remains differentiated.

Assist in designing and executing structured customer feedback programs (e.g., surveys, advisory panels, interviews).

Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Technology teams to ensure insights from customer and market research are incorporated into program enhancements.

Support initiative prioritization and roadmap planning by quantifying potential impact and synthesizing stakeholder input.

Build reports, dashboards, or briefings to track key metrics and performance across strategic initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science).

2 years of experience in a related field (e.g., data analysis, business strategy, marketing).

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience working with data and analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., MBA, MS in data science).

Experience working in the airline or loyalty industry.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R).

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
