About the Role We are seeking a
Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing
to lead business development, increase census, and drive revenue growth across multiple skilled nursing facilities. If you have a proven track record in healthcare sales, leadership, and business development, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact!
Major Responsibilities
Achieve company census and payer mix goals while partnering with the CEO, leadership team, and operations to meet annual budget projections.
Hire, train, and oversee the sales and marketing team, ensuring strong business development strategies.
Provide expert training in admissions, hospital relationship management, business development, and customer satisfaction.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement regulations, as well as Medicare Value-Based Purchasing programs like Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Bundled Payments for Care Improvement (BPCI).
Participate in meetings with ACOs and other value-based purchasing organizations to align company strategies.
Support efforts to improve key scorecard metrics such as reduced length of stay and avoidable re-admissions.
Engage with Medical Directors at the facility level to enhance medical support and referrals.
Monitor and optimize the company's Territory Management System, providing training and implementation support as needed.
Assist in developing and executing the company's business development plan.
Prepare and manage annual budgets, analyzing and recommending occupancy targets, rate structures, promotional budgets, and product development initiatives.
Participate in the company's quality improvement initiatives by tracking and analyzing customer satisfaction data, reporting insights to leadership, and implementing improvement strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or business discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum eight (8) years of management experience.
Minimum five (5) years in business development and healthcare sales.
Skilled Nursing Industry experience required.
Experience in provider relations and managed care environments.
