Key Responsibilities
Client Success & Strategic Growth
Serve as the senior strategic partner to top-tier B2B clients, leading strategic planning, quarterly reviews, and growth conversations. Build and maintain trusted, long-term client relationships, functioning as an extension of the clients’ own leadership team. Identify and pursue upsell, cross-sell, and partnership expansion opportunities across Citro’s suite of brand, web, digital, and content services. Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure client strategies translate into measurable marketing and business outcomes. Lead client success planning, retention, and renewal strategies — maintaining industry-leading client satisfaction and growth metrics. Agency Leadership & Business Development
Support Citro’s Vision and participate in the evolution of our Business Plan. Own and execute the Business Plan, including new business development, market penetration, and service expansion. Lead new business strategy, solution, and pitch development, ensuring the scope of proposals reflects Citro’s value, differentiation, and ROI. Oversee a small team of account directors/managers, providing mentorship, performance guidance, and professional development. Collaborate with marketing, creative, and performance teams to shape the agency’s positioning and go-to-market strategy. Contribute to thought leadership and visibility initiatives, representing Citro at industry events, webinars, and panels. Drive marketing strategies for key accounts — integrating brand positioning, digital media, and content performance. Provide high-level strategic counsel to clients on marketing transformation, customer acquisition, and digital innovation. Ensure Citro’s strategies align with client business objectives, market trends, and measurable performance indicators. Monitor market and competitive developments to guide future service offerings and client strategies. Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, branding, or digital roles within an agency environment. Proven ability to lead multi-account portfolios with agility, identify new service opportunities, and drive measurable growth across B2B service-based clients. Deep understanding of agency operations, client dynamics, and commercial growth levers. Track record of hitting or exceeding aggressive revenue and retention goals. Demonstrable network and a recognized thought-leader. Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with executive-level clients. Strong business acumen — able to interpret data, forecast revenue, and make informed strategic decisions. Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, confident, adaptable, and motivated by performance-based success. Preferred Skills
Expertise in integrated B2B marketing — including brand strategy, digital campaigns, content marketing, and demand generation. Experience leading cross-functional teams across creative, digital, and client success disciplines. Proficiency in CRM, pipeline management, and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.). Comfortable managing P&L elements related to account growth and retention.
