Overview We design, build, and service highly engineered products in fluid and motion control applications, collaborating closely with customers to reduce complexity and deliver sustainable outcomes.

Role Overview Prepares and revises engineering designs, drawings, diagrams, and bills of materials in collaboration with design engineers and project managers.

Work Environment Hybrid – Rancho Santa Margarita, CA (moving to Foothill Ranch, CA in 2026).

Key Responsibilities

Create new or revised documentation (BOMs and design drawings) for manufacturing and production.

Utilize ERP/ MRP system to prepare engineering change orders and BOMS.

Ensure mechanical engineering sketches, specifications, and related data and drawings conform with customer, company specifications, and quality requirements.

Prepare SolidWorks layouts of valve assemblies and review designs for proper function and cost considerations.

Select materials for components and assemblies.

Create a database for new parts and bills of material.

Check and define fit, form, and function of each part.

Critical Competencies for Success

Knowledge of machining operations and machine shop background.

Strong knowledge in CAD (SolidWorks preferred, AutoCAD a plus).

Preferred ability to design with spreadsheets and knowledge of ANSI material specifications and material processes (welding, plating, overlay, heat treatment).

Familiarity with mechanical or industrial design.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Pay range $33 - $38 an hour. Pay is determined by skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements, aligned with market location and prevailing wage laws.
