Vox Media is seeking a social video leader who understands the ever‑changing social media landscape and is highly organized, creative, ambitious, and innovative. The ideal candidate will have experience creating social series across various platforms, strong in ideation, and proficient in physical and post‑production.

What You’ll Do

Assist with coordinating, producing, and delivering social videos for sponsorship campaigns.

Oversee and work with the supervising producer and head of production to manage a network of creators.

Work with audio‑dev directors to ensure timely publishing; manage calendar and occasional brand publishing.

Co‑create social videos with editorial talent; collaborate with other video, editorial, and audience leads to deliver high‑quality content.

Develop new social video ideas for repeatable series; produce and shoot in the field weekly; edit 1‑2 social videos per week.

Stay on top of trends and current moments, pitch video ideas, and work with department heads on brand programs.

Who You Are

At least 6+ years of hands‑on relevant experience in video/social production.

5+ years producing short‑form social platform content.

Comfortable on set and in the field, professional around celebrity guests and brand partners.

Strong writing and communication skills.

Expert in Adobe Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, etc.).

Expert at developing social concepts for video.

Strong understanding of video analytics and impact.

Experience with sponsored video concepts.

Versatility with high‑end and low‑fi shooting for social.

Passion for social media content creation and innovation.

Demonstrated leadership with 2‑3 years in a senior role.

Talent/creator management experience, including work with agents.

Ability to work across brands and platforms; strong storytelling capability.

Understanding that social video changes rapidly.

Where You’ll Work This role is remote but based in Los Angeles.

Pay Transparency Pay Range: $76,000 – $90,000 USD
