Role Summary and Purpose:
The AVP, Social Media – Health & Wellness will facilitate an “Always‑on” day‑to‑day execution of content publishing, channel management, and social content project management for the CareCredit social media accounts.
The role will have a meaningful impact on the public‑facing perception of our brand, driving B2C and B2B audience awareness, consideration, and engagement through thoughtful and relevant social media activity.
Reporting to the VP, Social & Content Strategy, the position will work cross‑functionally with other teams and manage outside agency resources.
Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day “Always‑on” social content management, including project and status management of all content creation, reviews and approvals of social copy and creative assets.
Gather final social assets and targeting criteria from relevant teams, schedule posts within Sprinklr (and native platforms as needed), and quality‑assure all published posts.
Manage internal and external campaigns, monitor social comments, channel DMs, and respond to consumer feedback on behalf of the brand.
Perform social listening on review sites and partner with consumer and provider marketing, PR, analytics, compliance, and legal teams.
Identify opportunities and challenges in competitive and industry trends, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain brand consistency.
Lead project‑optimizations such as SOP improvements, calendar development, analytics processes, and strategy suggestions.
Cover for team members when out of office and perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or high school diploma with 8 years of marketing experience.
Minimum 4+ years of B2C social media marketing experience (B2B a plus).
4+ years of project management with data‑driven strategic thinking.
2+ years working in a matrixed team or organization.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to translate complex brand messaging into clear, concise copy across multiple platforms.
Process‑driven and able to work independently.
Desired Characteristics
Experience across all major consumer social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok).
Adobe Workfront, Sprinklr, or similar platform experience.
Experience responding to consumers on corporate social media accounts.
Experience creating content programs and publishing calendars.
Awareness of paid social media and audience development.
Strong analytical mindset with a passion for social media trends.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with flawless execution and tight timelines.
Salary Range $75,000.00 – $130,000.00 USD annual, plus eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Compensation will be based on experience, skill level, and market adjustments for CA, NY Metro, and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements
Must be 18 years or older.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be willing to take a drug test, background investigation, and provide fingerprints as part of onboarding.
Must be able to satisfy Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
