Job Description The Coordinator, Social Media Content at NBC Sports plays a crucial role to support ideation and execution for a variety of the company’s key properties. The ideal candidate has experience both creating and executing content and planning for special events and full seasons. The coordinator is expected to bring creativity, platform expertise and attention to detail to all tasks.

This full-time position sits on the NBC Sports marketing team and reports to an Associate Manager, Social Media Content. The role will focus on efforts surrounding the Olympics, On Her Turf and NBC Sports flagship accounts.

Responsibilities

Assist with the development of weekly and season-long content calendars for assigned properties

Develop, publish and monitor social content on all platforms, primarily during normal business hours

Liase with agency partners for social content creation and community management during live event windows

Oversee community management on all platforms, including comment moderation, user-generated content development and social sentiment monitoring

Work with talent to develop content both in-studio and on-site at select events

Coordinate with creative content team and external partners on content requests, quality control and asset delivery

Execute sponsored social content campaigns and ensures all branded content is properly published and tracked

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field

Extensive knowledge of sports and internet culture

Experience and proficiency in all social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X and Facebook, Threads and BlueSky)

Experience with a variety of social and project management tools (Sprout Social, Airtable, Monday.com, etc.)

1+ years relevant work experience

Additional Requirements

Hybrid

: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
