Job Description We’re looking for a digital marketing leader to amplify MUSH’s brand presence across owned, retail, and e‑commerce channels. You’ll translate brand strategy into high‑performing digital and retail media programs — ensuring our creative and messaging work hard to drive awareness and conversion.
This is a hands‑on role for a strategic executor who knows how to bring brand campaigns to life across paid channels, measure what’s working, and use those insights to optimize performance. You’ll collaborate closely with Brand Marketing to ensure creative consistency while pushing for data‑driven improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities Build the Media Function
Develop the overall media strategy — from paid social to retail media — to drive brand growth and business impact.
Define what success looks like: set budgets, KPIs, measurement tools, and reporting frameworks across platforms.
Shape how we resource the function, managing agencies and building a small internal team over time.
Drive Digital Growth
Lead digital media strategy across Amazon, retail media platforms, and paid social/search.
Partner with Brand Marketing to amplify storytelling and creative campaigns digitally.
Manage and optimize paid media (Meta, TikTok, Google, Amazon Ads, Retail Media).
Build full‑funnel media plans that drive awareness, traffic, and conversion.
Optimize E‑Commerce & Retail Media
Own Amazon and Instacart performance — from paid ads to content and brand stores.
Partner with Sales to maximize retailer media investments (Instacart, Walmart Connect, Roundel, etc.).
Develop measurement frameworks that tie spend to sales velocity and category growth.
Measure & Improve
Build dashboards and KPIs to track digital and retail media performance.
Run A/B tests across channels and creatives to continuously improve ROI.
Reallocate budgets based on real‑time data and business priorities.
Collaborate & Lead
Partner cross‑functionally with Brand, Sales, and Finance to ensure aligned growth plans.
Manage agency partners and vendors as needed.
Over time, hire and mentor a lean digital team to scale the function.
Experience And Skills
8–10+ years in digital, e‑commerce, or growth marketing — ideally CPG, food, or consumer goods.
Proven success driving revenue through Amazon, Instacart, and paid digital channels.
Strong analytical and media management skills (Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Instacart Ads, etc.).
Strategic thinker who thrives in hands‑on execution.
Clear communicator and natural collaborator.
