About The Organization This role supports the marketing operations function for a Fortune 50 retail organization and one of the nation’s largest home improvement retailers.
Position Overview The Senior Marketing Technology Operations Analyst serves as the Adobe Workfront subject matter expert within the Marketing Operations organization. This role partners with cross-functional marketing teams to design, implement, and optimize workflows that drive operational efficiency, improve campaign delivery, and enable marketing excellence at enterprise scale.
Key Responsibilities Workfront Administration & Optimization (30%)
Serve as primary Workfront expert, owning system configuration, workflow design, intake processes, and user administration
Define and maintain enterprise standards for project templates, job roles, custom forms, and naming conventions to ensure consistency and scalability
Conduct regular system audits to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation and process optimization
Maintain system governance to ensure configurations remain clean and aligned with business requirements
Cross-Functional Partnership & Requirements Gathering (25%)
Partner with Brand Marketing, Creative Services, Digital, Media, Product Marketing, and PMO to understand campaign processes and workflow requirements
Conduct discovery sessions and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Facilitate alignment on campaign timelines, resource capacity planning, and deliverable expectations
Partner with third-party software providers to influence platform roadmaps and ensure alignment with business needs
Reporting & Analytics (20%)
Develop and automate custom dashboards and reports tracking campaign performance, SLAs, resource utilization, and capacity planning
Leverage data insights to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for workflow optimization
Create leadership-ready reporting that communicates complex findings in clear, actionable formats
Monitor KPIs and proactively recommend data-driven process enhancements
System Integration & Technology Enablement (15%)
Support integrations between Workfront and adjacent platforms including DAM (Aprimo), CMS, analytics tools, and AI solutions
Ensure seamless data flow and process continuity across connected marketing technology systems
Stay current on marketing technology trends, emerging capabilities, and industry best practices
Training & Support (10%)
Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing users to drive platform adoption
Create documentation, user guides, and self-service resources
Lead new associate onboarding and provide responsive, solutions-oriented support
Required Qualifications
5+ years in marketing operations or marketing technology operations
Proven expertise as Adobe Workfront administrator with hands‑on configuration and reporting experience
Track record of leading process implementations with measurable efficiency gains in enterprise environments
Technical Skills
Advanced Workfront proficiency (custom forms, templates, dashboards, complex reporting)
Strong understanding of marketing technology ecosystems including DAM platforms, workflow management, and campaign tools
Experience with project management tools (Jira, Wrike, Confluence) valued
Comfortable with data analysis and translating insights into business recommendations
Core Competencies
Exceptional problem‑solving with ability to navigate ambiguity and develop creative solutions
Self‑motivated with ability to lead projects independently with minimal direction
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences including senior leadership
Strong project management orientation with attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
Analytical mindset with passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
Preferred
Adobe Workfront certification
Experience with Agile marketing methodologies
Background in retail marketing operations or Fortune 500 environments
Familiarity with AI‑powered marketing tools
Base pay range $54.00/hr - $60.00/hr
