LaSalle Network is partnering with a Chicago-based performance marketing agency to hire an
Associate Director of Performance Media
with deep experience in the Google ecosystem to join a fast-growing performance marketing team. This role sits between the performance leadership team and day‑to‑day media buyers, supporting the scaling of multiple eCommerce and DTC clients. It involves hands‑on campaign execution while offering the opportunity to learn and contribute to strategy over time.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize Google advertising campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max for 3–6 clients with monthly ad spends ranging from $40K–$500K.
Collaborate with the media buying team, providing guidance, oversight, and support while ensuring campaigns hit performance goals.
Partner closely with internal leadership (Lance and Jordan) on campaign execution, performance tracking, and client deliverables.
Act as a key point of contact for Google reps and external partners.
Analyze campaign performance and communicate results to stakeholders, leveraging internal data platforms for reporting and insights.
Focus on lower-funnel, conversion-driven campaigns for eCommerce and DTC clients.
Maintain campaign quality and ensure smooth execution across multiple accounts.
Qualifications
3–5+ years of hands‑on experience managing Google Ads campaigns across multiple accounts, preferably in a CPG, DTC, or eCommerce environment.
Strong understanding of the Google Ads ecosystem: Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max, and Demand.
Experience managing mid‑to large‑sized budgets ($200K–$400K/month ideal).
Comfortable being client-facing, collaborating with internal leadership and external teams.
Demonstrated ability to optimize campaigns and scale performance.
Agency or in‑house experience welcome; smaller agency experience or in‑house with large teams a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
No direct reports required, but experience coordinating with cross‑functional teams (including remote teams) is essential.
