Purpose and Scope The Director of Marketing, Breast Cancer will lead the strategic and operational marketing efforts for the launch of a new product in Tolmar’s Oncology portfolio. This pivotal leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing the pre-launch and launch strategies of this product to ensure optimal market readiness, stakeholder engagement, and brand differentiation in a highly competitive and evolving landscape.

Pre-Launch and Launch Preparation

Lead development of the US brand strategy, positioning, and value proposition for the new product.

Conduct and synthesize market research, competitive intelligence, and insights from patients, HCPs, and payers to inform strategic direction.

Define the go‑to‑market strategy, including segmentation, targeting, messaging, and channel mix.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial Operations to ensure integrated launch readiness.

Oversee development of disease education campaigns and pre-launch initiatives to build awareness and engagement among key stakeholders.

Lead launch planning, including brand identity creation, campaign development, field force readiness, and launch metrics.

Post-Launch and Brand Performance

Drive execution of brand plans, including promotional programs, lifecycle initiatives, and indication expansions.

Monitor brand performance KPIs (market share, patient starts, awareness, and engagement) and adjust tactics accordingly.

Lead strategic brand reviews and forecast updates with senior leadership.

Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and evolving standards of care in oncology, anticipating market shifts.

Partner with sales, market access, and digital teams to optimize omnichannel execution and ensure consistent brand experience.

Manage marketing budget and external agency partnerships to deliver high-impact, compliant campaigns.

Demonstrate leadership across Tolmar, building and developing strong cross‑functional relationships and responsibilities as the brand evolves.

Develop strategic alignment with Tolmar business strategy – including all products and services, new product launches, and alignment of the long‑term portfolio development strategy with financial LRP deliverables.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Experience in Women’s Health, Breast Cancer, and/or product launches.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing, methods and techniques.

Strong communication skills, oral and written.

Critical thinking and strategic assessment of market and portfolio.

Effective problem‑solver and follow‑up.

Strong financial and data analytic skills.

Creative marketing ability.

Strong leadership skills; able to communicate expectations to the team.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (MBA a plus).

3–5+ years of marketing, sales, or pharmaceutical commercial experience.

Experience with specialty products a plus.

Working Conditions

Office environment; requiring sitting and standing.

Travel required up to 25%.

Compensation Tolmar compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices, including market-based base pay and a strong benefits package. The final compensation offered may vary from the posted range based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.
