Director of Casino Marketing

– Dreamscape Rio Hotel & Casino

Overview : The Director of Casino Marketing is responsible for managing the casino marketing department, while also developing high‑end casino guests through strategic planning and successful implementations of goals, objectives, and policies in accordance with company objectives and gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

Direct oversight of the casino marketing team, including hiring, training, developing, and scheduling.

Analyze and evaluate customer profitability, offer decisions, incentives, discounts, and other reinvestment strategies.

Closely partner with leaders across all verticals to ensure offerings and goals align and complement the property’s overall financial and KPI targets.

Develop and sustain relationships with high‑value casino guests by delivering world‑class customer service.

Work to reactivate inactive casino guests through direct contact, including mail, telephone, personal visits, etc.

Effectively manage casino marketing expenses against budget and participate in monthly P&L reviews for the department.

Exemplify strong customer‑service skills and hold the team accountable for delivering on the guest‑service strategy of the property.

Regularly review and evaluate department performance and leverage data trends, guest‑service scores, customer database, and KPIs to maintain and grow customer loyalty.

Maintain a strong working knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, etc.) and regulations as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.

Promptly and professionally resolve customer concerns as they arise.

Collaborate with Brand Marketing and Special Events on casino events, promotions and other activations involving the casino.

Collaborate with CRM and Revenue Management for data analysis, offer management, guest offers and customer online portals.

Perform other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum five (5) years experience in casino marketing management.

Minimum three (3) years of progressive leadership experience.

Strong organizational skills, solution‑driven, and analytical thinker.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Strong computer proficiency; ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and applicable casino and operational software.

At least 21 years of age.

Preferred

Proficient in using customer databases and gaming operations software.

Five (5) years experience of leading large teams.

Prior casino management experience.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.

Must regularly lift and/move up to 20 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Working Conditions

Work is performed indoors in a climate‑controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
