Architectural Designer / Plans Manager
We are a high-end, full‑service design‑build firm specializing in large-scale luxury remodels and new builds. We are looking for a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Architectural Designer / Plans Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing and managing comprehensive architectural plan sets from concept through permitting and construction.
Key Responsibilities
Draft detailed architectural plans for remodels and new construction projects, including lighting/electrical plans
Work closely with designers, project directors, and field project managers to ensure plans are complete, coordinated, and construction‑ready
Maintain accuracy across all plan sets as project details evolve
Coordinate with structural & MEPS engineers and consultants to obtain required engineering
Submit permits and manage all permit‑related tasks across multiple jurisdictions
Communicate with city and county agencies as needed to support the permitting process
Qualifications
Proficient in drafting software (Chief Architect preferred)
Strong understanding of residential construction processes and terminology
Experience in a design‑build environment preferred
Permit application experience is a plus, but not required
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
