Base pay range $40.00/hr - $45.00/hr
Description Hybrid (3 days per week onsite) in Plano, TX.
Develop design concepts and materials that appear in email and other marketing materials/channels. Turn marketing strategies into producible materials that meet the communications needs of business partners.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. For our W2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $40-45/hr. W2.
Responsibilities
Create structure, layout, and functionality of landing pages and websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Produce clean, technically accurate files
Build email templates within email builder utilizing approved design and brand guidelines
Execution for Email and Web
Partner with internal creative teams, or external agencies, to advise on creative email templates, landing pages and interactive websites
Understand company and LOB (line of business) strategy, and how it relates to creative development
Act as a proactive subject matter expert on the team to help influence decisions
Manage numerous projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
Complete work correctly and efficiently to meet appropriate deadlines
Communicate well with business partners, team members, and tech partners
Experience Requirements The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of web development experience, including 2-5 years of experience working in an email specific role.
Front-End Technologies
HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript proficiency
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less)
Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions
Email Platforms
Expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Experience with Ampscript
Version Control
Proficiency with Git and GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket
Web Performance Optimization
Understanding of techniques to improve page load times and rendering performance
Testing and Debugging
Experience with browser developer tools for debugging
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)
UI/UX Principles
Solid understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles
Ability to translate design mockups and wireframes into functional web interfaces
Proficiency with design tools like Figma and Adobe XD
Communication and Collaboration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Detail-oriented and able to multitask, able to self-manage deadlines on numerous concurrent projects
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and GDPR regulations
