Candidates will be disqualified if the following criteria are not met:
- Employment Type: No C2C (Corp-to-Corp) or C2H (Contract-to-Hire) arrangements. W2 contract only. No referral fees will be entertained. - Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen - Local in Poway, CA or 1 hour drive to Poway - PADS logic and PADS layout - Military Class 3 - CAD engineering design software PADS Power PCB and PADS Power Logic, (PCAD 8.5 optional) - Must have a complete and in-depth understanding and wide application of PC board design concepts and drawing principles, including ANSI Y4.15 and IPC Standards, and demonstrate a very high skill level using CAD engineering software.
Essential Qualifications Typically requires an Associates degree or a training certificate from a recognized organization indicating completion of training in basic electronics technology and in CAD design software and four or more years of progressive experience designing PC boards utilizing CAD engineering design software. Additional experience designing PC boards may be substituted in lieu of education. Must have a complete and in-depth understanding and wide application of PC board design concepts and drawing principles, including ANSI Y4.15 and IPC Standards, and demonstrate a very high skill level using CAD engineering software. Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly, applying them accurately throughout an evolving environment. Must be able to organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases. Must also be able to determine the appropriate approach at the task level or, with assistance, at the project level to provide creative solutions to a wide range of highly complex problems. Must have strong communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills while being able to work independently and as part of a team, Must be able to trouble-shoot and test basic electronic assemblies, and be able to solder basic electronic components to a PC boards if needed. Must be able to work extended hours as required.
