Description Be a part of our Art Team as an experienced Technical Artist! Our studio makes original video titles for electronic gaming machines that utilize all aspects of digital art and animation creation. This is a collaborative team that works in a wide variety of themes and visual styles to assist in creating content, including graphic design layouts, logos, animations, typography, concepting, 2D/3D art and animation, and character development.

This is a hybrid position located in Reno, NV. You will be responsible for working in the office 3 days/week and remotely 2 days/week.

What Will You Be Doing?

Build and optimize tools, scripts, shaders, rigs, particles, and pipelines that bring our art and animations to life.

Collaborate & Innovate:

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure graphics are top-tier and meet project goals.

Learn & Evolve:

Dive deep into creative decision-making, user psychology, and the art of solving design challenges.

Optimize the Process:

Streamline production pipelines, ensure stylistic consistency, and deliver top-quality assets on time.

Stay Organized:

Maintain impeccable file organization and uphold department guidelines.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:

A

bachelor’s degree in graphic arts ,

Animation , or

or a related field

—or an epic combination of education and experience.

1-3 years

of Technical Artist experience, with a portfolio that screams versatility and attention to detail.

Working knowledge of Unity and

real-time content pipelines

Technical coding experience:

Ability to create tools using C# for artists using Unity.

Shader and rendering fundamentals

VFX fundamentals and authoring

Animator controllers and Unity Timeline usage

Pipeline and tooling awareness

Proficiency with Photoshop

General knowledge of DCCs (e.g., Maya, Blender, Spine, Binks)
